The pupils

Waldorf education understands the child in a broad and holistic way. It forms complete human beings through an education which allows them to develop their individuality and which is adapted to their stage of development.

What do we achieve?

That each child develops all his or her abilities and skills and, at the same time, fosters critical thinking in each of them. In order to achieve this, one of the pillars of Waldorf-Steiner schools is the knowledge of the needs of each of the stages through which a human being goes through since birth. These stages, called septennial stages, are accompanied and respected in their development towards maturity.

Rudolf Steiner already recommended, more than a hundred years ago, not to force abstract cognitive processes when the brain and the Ego are not ready for them. In recent years, neuroscience has backed this up.

The team

The teachers at the Waldorf school are committed to ongoing training which provides them with an in-depth knowledge of the human being and his or her development from early childhood to adolescence. They work as a team, in weekly meetings, where each of the teachers submits his or her work to an in-depth analysis, with the aim of collaborating with each other in a mutual learning process. The aim is to get to know the individuality and needs of each of the children in the classroom, to adapt to them and, in short, to serve as an example and inspiration for them.

The families

A Waldorf school is built with the indispensable support of the families. The aim is to ensure consistency and continuity in the values the children receive at school and at home. Through their commitment and active participation in school life, the links between the two areas, which are essential for the development of each child, are strengthened.

Each teacher holds regular meetings with the families to maintain constant feedback on the evolution of the pupil, his or her intellectual, emotional and social development.

By opening the school to families (parents, grandparents…), and through celebrations and activities, we encourage cooperation and develop a sense of community.
